Job summary

Blue Water Thinking, LLC is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Imaging Technician to maintain and service imaging devices (CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound) to ensure safe, reliable patient care in Phoenix. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, calibrate devices, and document service history.

Ideal candidates have tertiary training in applied science, with minimum three years in medical equipment maintenance and familiarity with regulatory standards and test equipment setup.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintaining and repairing CT scanners, MRI machines, X-ray equipment, and ultrasound machines.
• Understanding of regulatory agencies’ requirements, industry regulatory requirements, and International Standard Organization standards.
• Familiarity with the setup and application of test equipment.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical literature, schematics, and drawings.
• A minimum of three years of hospital or healthcare experience performing medical equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CT scanners, MRI machines, X-Rays, and ultrasound machines to ensure their optimal performance.
• Inspect, calibrate, and validate imaging equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
• Identify and rectify technical issues, and collaborate with manufacturers' support when necessary to resolve complex problems.
• Maintain detailed records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and service history in accordance with regulatory requirements.
