Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Customer Service Engineer 2 to service and maintain Medical Imaging Equipment in the Kansas City, MO area. You will be the face of Siemens to customers, performing diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and on-site repairs with a focus on reliability and quality.

You will work in a field-based, customer-facing role reporting to the Regional Service Manager, with shift options and potential for cross-training into other modalities as the business needs evolve.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience performing service, preventive maintenance, and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision.
• Experience with Diagnostics Imaging Equipment.
• Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and peers; perform administrative tasks timely and accurately.
• Strong background in electronics; proficient with service tools and test equipment.
• Proficient PC skills (MS Windows & Office 365).

Responsibilities

• Servicing Medical Imaging Equipment in the Kansas City, MO area; on-site field-based role.
• Install, service, maintain and modify Siemens imaging equipment at customer sites.
• Be the face of Siemens to customers and ensure high-quality service.
• Support diagnostics modalities with potential cross-training into other modalities.
• Willingness to work different shifts and participate in on-call rotations and overtime as needed.
