Job summary

TRIMEDX is seeking an Imaging Engineer I to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and verify performance of complex medical imaging equipment including MRI, CT, and cath labs. You will advise clinical staff on equipment use and safety, ensure regulatory compliance, and support inventory management.

The role emphasizes mentoring other associates, contributing to department improvements, and adhering to core TRIMEDX values.

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year experience in repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of medical imaging equipment.
Frequent use of fine motor skills during servicing of equipment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform PA inspections, maintenance, and operation verification on imaging equipment.
Repair, install, and calibrate imaging systems and components.
Inform supervisors about repairs, inspections, and customer concerns.
Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and outside technicians to ensure service quality.
Maintain clinical engineering knowledge through ongoing training and education.
Lead special projects and mentor colleagues.
