Job summary

Trimedx is seeking an experienced medical imaging equipment technician to own the repair, maintenance, and installation of MRI, CT, and related systems. You will diagnose complex issues, guide teams, and ensure regulatory compliance to protect patient safety.

You’ll lead vendor coordination, mentor others, and document processes to improve uptime across sites. A strong background in electronics and imaging systems is required, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in repair, maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of medical imaging equipment.
• Associate’s degree in electronics/technical field or equivalent experience (required; waived with TRIMEDX certification or similar).
• Bachelor’s in engineering technology (preferred).
• Strong computer diagnostics, networking basics, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Own the critical path—diagnose and restore high-end imaging systems with speed and precision.
• Lead the work—direct vendors, guide teams, and set the standard for technical excellence.
• Safeguard compliance—align with physicists and regulations to ensure every scan is safe and accurate.
• Multiply impact—mentor others and shape how imaging support is done across the site.
