Job summary

Huntsville Memorial Hospital is seeking an Imaging Director to plan, coordinate, and direct all imaging modalities, including Radiology, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, and Echo. The role ensures efficient operations and strict regulatory compliance to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Formal radiology technology program completed.
• Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• ARRT or ARDMS or RN licensure/certification required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and direct imaging services (Radiology, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, Echo).
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain quality control.
• Develop policies, procedures and staffing plans; manage budget and resources.
• Provide 24/7 accountability through effective delegation and decision making.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives and collaborate with Medical Director.
