Job summary

Huntsville Memorial Hospital seeks an Imaging Director to oversee Radiology, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography and Echo. The role directs operations, ensures regulatory compliance, and leads quality improvements.

Responsibilities include staffing, policy development, budget adherence, and collaboration with medical staff. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of formal radiology technology program required.
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
• Three years of clinical experience and one year of supervisory experience required.
• Must have ARRT RT(R) or ARDMS licensure or RN license.
• Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, direct and maintain all imaging modalities operations.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory laws and standards.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures for imaging services.
• Plan staff schedules and ensure appropriate staffing within budget.
• Oversee quality improvement processes and safety programs.
• Collaborate with Radiology Medical Director and medical staff; protect PHI.
