Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or Doctorate of Nursing Practice required.
- Graduation from accredited APRN program.
- Current license as a Professional Registered Nurse and Advanced Practice.
- RN license in the State of Illinois required.
Responsibilities
- Manage the care of patients within assigned area and/or area of expertise.
- Obtain relevant patient health history and interpret tests/records.
- Perform physical exams and record findings.
- Prescribe or order interventions and develop treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families about care plans.
- Coordinate scheduling and necessary documentation for procedures.
- Order consultations and referrals.
- Assess treatment outcomes and adjust plans as needed.
- Participate in teaching and mentorship of students and staff.
