Job summary

Advocate Health Care in Illinois seeks an experienced APRN/Registered Nurse with a Master’s in Nursing to assess, diagnose, and manage patient care across age groups. You will order tests, interpret results, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and the health-care team.

Responsibilities include education, health promotion, documentation in the EMR, participation in quality and safety initiatives, and maintaining productivity standards to ensure timely, safe patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license and APRN license in state of practice.
Active national board certification in area of clinical practice and populations served.
Education required: Master's Degree in Nursing.
Experience: No experience required.

Responsibilities

Assess, diagnose, and manage treatment plans appropriate for age, acuity and clinical condition.
Provide health promotion, disease prevention and education to patients and families.
Coordinate with interdisciplinary team and refer to physicians as needed.
Document thoroughly in the electronic medical record and ensure compliant coding.
Facilitate communication among healthcare team and community agencies.
Perform procedures within scope and granted privileges as applicable.
