Job summary

CHI Mercy Health in Roseburg, Oregon, is seeking an Imaging Professional to perform advanced diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures as part of our clinical team. You will operate sophisticated equipment, monitor patients, and support physicians with real-time guidance, while upholding patient safety and high-quality care across diverse imaging modalities.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Basic computer skills are required.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Performs patient check-in at the time of visit and completes all paperwork.
  • Fills out consent forms for treatment and has patient sign on arrival to department.
  • Performs Medical Necessity checks.
  • Issues exam preparation materials by checking in the schedule module and/or the technician to verify the exam.
  • Notifies ordering providers of required changes based on Radiologist’s Protocols in regard to patient’s medical history, medication allergies and laboratory results.
  • Screens physician orders for accuracy and completeness and orders exam(s).

As an Imaging Professional, you will be a highly specialized and essential member of our clinical team, pivotal in performing advanced diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Every day, you will expertly execute diverse specialized imaging procedures, assisting physicians, meticulously monitoring patients, and precisely operating sophisticated equipment for critical real-time guidance and accurate diagnosis.

A steadfast commitment to patient safety advocacy is crucial. Ensuring patient safety is of utmost importance

  • Performs patient check-in at the time of visit and completes all paperwork.
  • Fills out consent forms for treatment and has patient sign on arrival to department.
