Job summary

MedStar Radiology Network seeks an experienced Director of Operations to lead the outpatient imaging centers in Chevy Chase, Rockville, and Olney. The role reports to executives and requires strong business, budgeting and leadership skills to drive center performance.

Responsibilities include guiding center operations, coordinating with radiologists, managing staff, and ensuring compliant, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced imaging environment.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership and management experience in a hospital, health care, or related field.
• Knowledge of modern business practices, budgeting, accounting, and supervisory techniques.
• Knowledge of imaging billing, payer contracts, and reimbursement practices.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains effective, collaborative relationships with center leaders and radiologists.
• Oversees sales, marketing and daily workflow for areas of responsibility.
• Directs sales calls, territory management and pre-call planning to achieve targets.
• Monitors performance, provides coaching, and ensures staff development.
• Ensures CRM data accuracy and timely reporting to administrators.
• Collaborates on budget development and strategic center improvements.
