Job summary

MedStar Radiology Network is seeking an experienced Director of Center Operations for a full-time role at an outpatient imaging center in Chevy Chase, MD. You will oversee operations across Chevy Chase, Rockville, and Olney, lead center leadership, and drive results in budgeting, billing, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, healthcare operations knowledge, and the ability to develop programs, manage teams, and communicate effectively with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• Leadership and management experience in healthcare settings.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, accounting and supervisory techniques.
• Knowledge of imaging billing, payer contracts and reimbursement practices.
• Familiarity with imaging accreditation and industry regulations (ACR, Medicare).

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains relationships with center Medical Directors and radiology leadership.
• Oversees sales, marketing and daily workflow across centers; trains staff.
• Demonstrates sales effectiveness and manages referral relations (50-60% of time).
• Executes sales calls, territory management and pre-call planning with CRM updates.
• Monitors performance, budgets, and program objectives with leadership team.
• Ensures compliance with accreditation, billing, and regulatory standards.
