Job summary

American Health Imaging Birmingham seeks a Full-time Clinical Care Coordinator (EMT, Paramedic, or RN) to provide onsite clinical support at our Birmingham imaging center. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, with responsibilities including emergency response, contrast administration, and collaboration with technologists.

The role requires current RN/Paramedic/EMT credentials, BLS/ACLS, IV competency, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Current license, certification, or credential including RN, Paramedic, or EMT.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• IV credentials/competency.
• Knowledge of medical procedures, terminology, medications, and emergency response.
• Knowledge of MRI safety and imaging center procedures.
• Ability to follow policies, HIPAA requirements, and safety guidelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to medical emergencies and provide life-support within scope.
• Coordinate with 911 and emergency personnel as needed.
• Support technologists and patient care team for safe, efficient patient care.
• Greet patients, perform pre-exam screening, and escort to rooms.
• Administer medications and manage IVs as directed within scope.
• Monitor center schedules and assist with patient flow.
