Job summary

Outpatient Diagnostic Centers of Alabama in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse for a part-time flex role covering Saturdays 7:00am–7:00pm and Sundays 7:00am–5:00pm. The onsite RN links patients, technologists and remote radiologists to support CT/MRI contrast examinations while ensuring safety, documentation, and rapid response to adverse events.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited RN program, Alabama licensure, and BLS within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited RN program.
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• On-site RN serves as the clinical link between patient, technologist, and remote radiologist.
• Coordinate the encounter, document care, and respond to adverse events.
• Perform CT/MRI pre-screening, patient movement, and throughput support.
• Assist with IV access and patient evaluation beyond contrast-related care as needed.
• Communicate critical results and accept verbal orders when policy allows.
