Job summary

OU Health is seeking an Imaging Care Associate PRN to support the Imaging team in providing excellent patient care. The role involves patient prep, positioning, and collaboration with the department to maintain a safe, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include patient transport, scheduling support, data entry, and record-keeping. The ideal candidate has at least one year of patient care experience and holds Basic Life Support certification.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: At least 1 year of patient care experience required.
• License(s)/Certification(s): Basic Life Support (BLS) required.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience: At least 1 year of patient care experience required.
• License(s)/Certification(s)/Registration(s) Required: Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association required.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Ability to provide exceptional service and care to patients.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to the imaging/radiology discipline.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow HIPAA guidelines and standards.
• Ability to prioritize and complete clinical or non-clinical work assignments.
• Ability to multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations.
• Ability to work as part of a diverse team and communicate effectively with others.
• Displays consistency and dependability by reporting to work as scheduled.
• Ability to be sensitive to patients’ physical and psychological needs.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and work accurately with names, numbers, and codes.
• Ability and desire to learn and grow in the Imaging profession.
