Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduate (minimum education).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification within 14 days.
• Preferred: 3–6 months experience with caring for acute, ED, or long-term care patients; MA/EMT/LPN experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist technologists in patient care for imaging before and after testing.
• Transport patients to and from radiology and ensure patient comfort during transit.
• Access patient information in EMR/O2/PACS and present to technologist staff.
• Prepare imaging rooms before and after exams and maintain room turnover.
• Coordinate information between nursing unit and technology staff; screen appointments.
• Educate patients and families about radiology procedures.
