Job summary

AdventHealth in Florida is seeking a part-time Radiology Support Assistant for weekend days. You will assist patients pre-imaging, help technologists, and maintain sterile exam rooms. The role supports smooth operations across radiology workflows and patient communication.

Requires a high school diploma; BLS may be preferred. Weekend shifts, on-site at 7050 Gall Blvd, Zephyrhills, FL 33541, with opportunities for growth and interdisciplinary collaboration within the department.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a hospital imaging setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with preparation for imaging exams, including changing into appropriate attire and verifying identification under supervision.
• Support technologists during procedures by positioning patients, moving equipment, or preparing exam rooms as directed.
• Clean and restock imaging rooms between patients, ensuring cleanliness and infection control compliance.
• Maintain adequate inventory of linens, supplies, and equipment, alerting staff when items are low.
• Answer phones, relay messages, and assist with communication between technologists, nursing, and other departments to support efficient workflow.

Job Description

• Shift: Saturday and Sunday coverage dayshift.
• Assists patients with preparation for imaging exams, including changing into appropriate attire and verifying identification under supervision.
• Supports technologists during procedures by positioning patients, moving equipment, or preparing exam rooms as directed.

Education

Work Experience

• 1+ experience in hospital setting in radiology [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

Pay Range

$15.30 - $22.95
