Corewell Health Grosse Pointe Hospital is seeking an Advanced Imaging Assistant to support imaging staff and perform a broad range of duties in the Imaging department. Under direct supervision, you will assist the Technologist and ensure care aligned with Patient and Family Centered Care.

The role requires strong interpersonal communication and adherence to hospital policies. Shift typically daytime, with 40 hours weekly and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of relevant patient care experience preferred.
• CRT-BLS by AHA or ARC required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist imaging technologists as needed in the imaging environment.
• Follow established policies and procedures within the Imaging department.

Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital is also home to The James and Patricia Anderson Surgical Center, a leading-edge, hybrid surgical suite offering advanced learning, technological advancements and a wide array of procedures ranging from traditional to minimally invasive approaches.

Scope of Work

Under direct supervision the Advanced Imaging Assistant supports and assists the Technologist as needed following the established policies and procedures within the Imaging environment. Responsible for performing a wide range of duties as assigned by the Imaging department. Must have good interpersonal and communication skills. Follows Corewell Health philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of relevant experience 2 years’ patient care experience. Preferred
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
