Job summary

Corewell Health Grosse Pointe Hospital is seeking a part-time radiology professional to perform diagnostic imaging procedures under the supervision of a registered radiographer. You will help ensure patient safety and maintain equipment and supplies for imaging exams.

You will coordinate routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, trauma and surgical imaging according to established standards and practices.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of relevant imaging experience or completion of the first year of an accredited imaging program preferred.
• CRT-BLS (AHA or ARC) upon hire required.

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer.

Scope of Work

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures. Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, performs diagnostic imaging procedures. Assume responsibility and maintains the general care and safety of patients during imaging procedures. Assures equipment/supplies are present and accounted for at beginning and end of each imaging procedure. Under direct or indirect supervision of a registered radiographer, coordinates and performs routine diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, portable x-rays, trauma and surgery procedures according to established standards and practices.

Qualifications

• Required High School Diploma
• 1 year of relevant experience must have completed the first year of an accredited imaging program Preferred
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
