Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System is seeking an Imaging Tech Aide to support technologists in performing examinations within the Imaging Department. You will assist with diagnostic imaging under a licensed technologist, communicate patient needs, and maintain imaging suites in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED, preferred.
• Certification: BLS or Heartsaver CPR with AED within 30 days of hire.
• Experience: 1 year in healthcare or enrolled in Radiologic Technology program.
• Computer skills: basic Windows and electronic mail usage.

Responsibilities

• Meets customer service expectations and assists in imaging care under supervision.
• Performs direct and indirect patient care within Radiology scope; assists in planning and implementing care.
• Enters physician orders via computer and coordinates diagnostic testing schedules.
• Maintains stock of linen and medical/clerical supplies; supports PACS/RadNet or other computer applications.
