Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston is seeking an Imaging Aide Tech to assist radiology staff in performing examinations within the Imaging Department. You will support diagnostic imaging under the direction of a licensed Radiology Tech and help coordinate patient care in a fast-paced environment.

The Imaging Aide position at Memorial City Breast Center offers Day shift, Monday–Friday 8-hour shifts; hours may flex based on patient workload.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required, preferred.
BLS or Heartsaver CPR with AED within 30 days of hire.
1 year of healthcare experience or enrolled in Radiologic Technology program.
Basic computer skills with Windows and email usage.
Ability to follow written instructions and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

Assist technologist in performing imaging examinations within the department.
Communicate patient needs to staff in a fast-paced environment.
Maintain supplies in imaging suites and follow policy/regulatory requirements.
Enter orders and coordinate schedules; support PACS/RadNet and computer applications.
Provide safe, compassionate patient care and document in medical records.
Support learning needs of patients and families; participate in team communication.
