Job Summary

Assists technologist in performing examinations within the scope of the Imaging Department. The role includes patient communication, maintaining supplies, following work rules and regulatory requirements, and completing related duties as requested.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a radiology technologist.
• Assist in planning and implementing direct patient care, including documentation in the patient medical record.
• Coordinate scheduling of diagnostic testing and maintain proper stock of supplies.
• Answer departmental telephones and resolve common problems.
• Ensure safe care for patients, staff, and visitors while complying with Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards.
• Support professional growth by completing mandatory continuing education and acting as preceptor, mentor, or resource to less experienced staff.
• Promote compassionate, personalized experiences consistent with company standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
