Job summary

Leidos is actively hiring for an Imagery Scientist (EO) to join our team in Alexandria, VA. The EO Geospatial Analyst shall provide geospatial and imagery expertise and quantitative analysis to make recommendations that improve data curation and development in support of Machine Learning algorithm testing and evaluation.

Primary responsibilities include leveraging EO imagery and multi-INT data to curate labeled data for model evaluation, developing diverse datasets, and assessing sensor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Active TS/SCI with ability to be approved for a Poly.
• Experience with EO imagery and multi-INT analysis.

Responsibilities

• Leverage multi-INT data, with an emphasis on EO imagery, to curate labeled data for ML model evaluation.
• Recommend curation strategies and identify data gaps to develop representative datasets.
• Assess differences between new sensor characteristics and current platforms.
• Evaluate metadata, data formats, and ETL considerations for data ingestion.
• Determine data acquisition, latency, formats, and security domains.
• Pre-process and standardize data to match standards for labeling and testing.
