Leidos is actively hiring for an Imagery Scientist (EO) to join our team in Alexandria, VA. The role focuses on geospatial analysis and ML data preparation to support model evaluation.

You will leverage EO imagery and multi-INT data to curate labeled datasets, assess sensor differences, and ensure data standards for ML workflows, with TS/SCI eligibility.

Candidates should have a background in EO imagery, geospatial analysis, and scripting; a Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with electro-optical imagery and multi-INT analysis.
• Ability to exploit structured, semi-structured data using geospatial tools and scripting.
• Bachelor's degree required; additional years of related experience considered in lieu of degree.

Responsibilities

• Leverage multi-INT data, with emphasis on EO, to curate imagery for labeled data for ML model evaluation.
• Recommend curation strategies and identify data gaps to develop a diverse dataset for model testing.
• Assist in assessing differences between new sensor characteristics and currently used platforms.
• Assess metadata, data formats, and ETL processes for ingestion and data movement in pipelines.
• Determine data acquisition methods, latency, formats, and security domains.
