Job Title: ILS Warehouse Operator

Located in Raleigh - Durham, North Carolina, Lilly is building a state-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. This facility will feature advanced automation in material handling and storage, with a highly integrated supply chain designed to minimize inventory and utilize reusable containers in a closed-loop system.

The ILS (Intralogistics Systems) Warehouse Operator will support automated material handling processes within the Warehouse and Logistics team, particularly during the qualification and commercial production phases. The role involves becoming a subject matter expert (SME) in warehouse operations, supporting daily activities, and assisting with the commissioning of new processes alongside project teams.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Support site start-up and serve as a SME in warehouse and logistics operations.
  2. Assist the ILS Warehouse Specialist, control tower, and manufacturing teams with material movements.
  3. Collaborate with automation technicians and support teams by executing EWM system transactions.
  4. Ensure timely replenishment of production lines via automated systems.
  5. Coordinate with support teams for issue escalation and resolution.
  6. Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to all safety and health standards.
  7. Uphold quality standards with a safety-first mindset.
  8. Support inventory accuracy across integrated systems.
  9. Work with warehouse and production teams to improve operational uptime.
  10. Participate in discussions on automation KPIs and equipment utilization.
  11. Comply with GMP and other regulatory requirements, participating in audits and quality initiatives.
  12. Achieve performance improvement goals set by leadership.
  13. Maintain current learning and training plans.
  14. Follow all policies and procedures related to warehouse activities.
Basic Requirements:
  • High School Diploma
  • At least 2 years of warehouse/logistics experience in a GMP environment
Additional Preferences:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and escalate issues effectively
  • Knowledge of quality policies and regulatory requirements (FDA, OSHA, EPA)
  • Problem-solving skills and initiative
  • Positive attitude, flexible, willing to work overtime and weekends
  • SAP/EWM experience
  • Comfort with automated systems
