Job summary

The Arc of Butte County in Chico, CA is seeking an Independent Living Services (ILS) Coordinator to oversee daily program operations, coordinate client services, and ensure ISPs align with goals. This on-site role requires compassion, organization, and collaboration with clients, families, and community partners.

You will recruit and train ILS Instructors, schedule staff, monitor documentation in Therap and other systems, and advocate for clients to access housing and community resources.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in Human Services or related field.
• Experience supporting individuals with I/DD or community-based services.
• Experience coordinating services, staff schedules, or client caseloads.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication, with professional interaction with clients and partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily ILS program operations to ensure quality client services.
• Manage new client referrals, intake assessments, and service coordination.
• Assist with developing, reviewing, and updating ISPs based on client needs.
• Monitor client progress and ensure services align with goals and requirements.
• Maintain communication with clients, families, ILS Instructors, and service coordinators.
• Coordinate staff assignments and provide coaching to instructors.
