Job summary

Duolingo is seeking a dedicated Illustration intern to contribute to our mission of making education universally accessible. You’ll work on challenging illustration projects, collaborating with a small team and attending hands-on trainings led by Duolingo artists. A strong portfolio is required for consideration.

You’ll join a full-time 12-week program from May to August, gaining mentorship and real-world experience in a fast-paced, education-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Illustration with expected graduation date Fall 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028.
• Portfolio of relevant projects required to be considered for application.
• Available for a full-time 12-week internship from May to August.

• Work independently and in small groups to complete illustration projects.

You have...

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Illustration, or a related creative field with an expected graduation date of Fall 2027 or Spring/Summer 2028
• Experience illustrating in creative software such as Figma, Photoshop, or other comparable software
• Available for a full‑time 12‑week internship from May to August.
• Must have a portfolio of relevant projects to be considered for application.
