Job summary

CIBC US Private Banking in Chicago seeks an accomplished Market Head, Illinois Private Banking, to lead the Illinois market, oversee client growth, deposits, lending, and revenue across Chicago and surrounding submarkets.

This executive role requires 15+ years in private banking or wealth management, proven leadership of a large regional team, and ability to build strategic partnerships across banking, capital markets, and wealth management.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in private banking, wealth management, or private client banking.
Direct experience leading a large regional market with P&L accountability.
Deep fluency in complex banking and bespoke lending for high-net-worth clients.

Responsibilities

Lead the Illinois business, strategy, and performance across Chicago and Illinois submarkets.
Build and develop the franchise's largest banker team and attract senior talent.
Deepen executive client relationships with the market's top clients and opportunities.
Drive franchise integration with US Commercial Banking, Capital Markets, and Wealth Management.
Advance private equity partner coverage across the Chicago market with internal partners.
Contribute as a senior franchise leader on the leadership team to shape strategy.
