Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience cultivating and managing lending and deposit relationships for HNW/UHNW clients.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or Economics (preferred).
• Demonstrated credit expertise and investment knowledge with ability to assess risk.
• Relationship-driven with strong client engagement and networking skills.
• Risk-focused and analytical with credit risk assessment capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, financial analysis, modeling, and Salesforce for client management.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and manage private banking relationships; establish lending and deposit relationships for HNW/UHNW clients.
• Expand client relationships through regular contact and cross-sell opportunities across lending, deposits and wealth management.
• Oversee portfolio health, perform reviews, manage risk ratings and renewals; ensure policy compliance.
• Lead and coordinate credit and underwriting processes with underwriting teams and risk management.
• Collaborate with internal partners to obtain approvals and develop tailored solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date Salesforce activity and engage in local market events to grow relationships.
• Mentor team members and uphold the CIBC values of trust, teamwork, and accountability.
