Job summary

ASSISTING HANDS HOMEHEALTH CARE LLC in Linwood Township, MN, is seeking a part-time community support staff to work one-on-one with a 17-year-old youth to promote independence and social engagement in the community.

This position offers approximately 6 hours per week with potential for additional hours as positions become available. Compensation is $21.00-$22.00 per hour and benefits include flexible schedule and PTO.

Qualifications

• Dependable, patient, and compassionate.
• Comfortable working with teens.
• Ability to engage youth in positive, age-appropriate activities.
• Ability to pass a DHS background check.
• Reliable transportation preferred.
• Caregiving/youth work experience is a plus (not required).

Part-Time Community Support Staff (Youth – Age 17)

Position Type: Part-Time

Hours: 6 hours per week (with opportunity for additional hours as more positions become available in the area)

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, patient, and supportive individual to work one-on-one with a 17-year-old youth who needs assistance accessing and participating in community activities. This role focuses on promoting independence, confidence, and positive social experiences in a safe and supportive manner. Does prefer to work with someone young.

Responsibilities Include

• Supporting the individual with community access and participation (e.g., recreational activities, outings, skill-building activities)
