Job summary

Pathway Caring for Children in Ohio seeks a Part-Time Youth Support Specialist to mentor and support children and teens in their homes and communities. You can make your own schedule with as few or as many hours as you want, engaging in conversations, practicing real-life skills, or helping a young person move forward.

You'll work alongside Pathway's clinical team to help youth build on their strengths, provide supervision and transportation when needed, and plan community activities that build

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or adolescents with emotional or behavioral needs is preferred.
• Ability to engage youth in a variety of settings including home and community-based environments.
• Willingness to provide behavioral support, activity planning, and parent/guardian communication.
• A valid Ohio driver’s license, safe driving record, automotive insurance, and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Make your own schedule with as few or as many hours as you want!This is a GET INVOLVED in the life of a child and teen kind of role. You may spend time talking with a teen, practicing real-life skills, getting out into the community, participating in recreational activities, or helping a young person work through a tough moment.
