IHOP Kingston Pike is seeking a friendly Host to join our Kingston Pike location. You will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and helping ensure an exceptional dining experience. This role offers starting pay of $12/hour with weekends required, plus a range of benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a warm, friendly demeanor.
• Accurately manage seating and assign tables based on party size and wait times.
• Provide menus and inform guests about specials or promotions.
• Answer phone calls, complete to-go orders, and handle inquiries.
• Maintain a clean, organized front-of-house area (host stand, waiting areas).
• Collaborate with servers, managers, and kitchen staff for smooth operations.
• Manage guest waitlist during busy periods to keep experiences positive.
• Respond to guest feedback and concerns professionally.
• Assist with light cleaning and stocking, including resetting tables.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.

Qualifications for a Host

• Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and holidays.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
