IHOP Oak Ridge is hiring for 1st and 2nd shifts. This role focuses on keeping the kitchen and dining areas clean, supporting food prep, and helping the front of house during busy times.

No experience is required; we will train the right candidate. Starting pay is $12 per hour with weekends and nights available in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, glassware, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including dish storage and cleaning supplies.
• Assist with food preparation and ingredients as needed, ensuring a smooth workflow for kitchen staff.
• Dispose of waste and recycling in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
• Set and reset tables according to dining room standards and guest preferences.
• Clear and clean tables after guests have finished dining promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including floors and restrooms.
• Support the front of house team during busy periods to ensure a positive dining experience for guests.
