HistoWiz, Inc. in New York City seeks an IHC Lab Assistant to support pathology lab operations. You will apply knowledge of IHC staining, histology techniques, and quality control practices in daily duties.

Responsibilities include organizing the lab environment, shipping and receiving client samples, maintaining inventory, performing slide printing and scanning, and ensuring accurate results under established protocols. Experience with a biotech lab and LIMS system is preferred.

Formación

• High school diploma with some lab experience.
• Experience with IHC and histology procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Biotech experience preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Organize and maintain the laboratory to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient working environment.
• Shipping and receiving client projects and samples, labeling materials for transport.
• Maintaining inventory and supplies, including ordering and restocking.
• Performing slide and cassette printing, slide cleaning, and scanning according to established protocols.
• Following strict quality control and quality assurance standard operating procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of laboratory results.
