Job summary

Northeast Family Services is seeking In-Home Behavioral Therapists (IHBS) to provide structured, strength-based therapeutic interventions in clients' homes for youth behavioral needs. You will support caregivers in understanding and improving communication with their children.

Position is ideal for those pursuing independent licensure; supervision is provided. Additional opportunities include bilingual roles and competitive hourly compensation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, special education or related CBHI approved degree program.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth and families in a home or community setting highly desirable.
• Experience with working with children on the autism spectrum desirable.

Responsibilities

• The IHBS will provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions in a client's home to treat a youth's behavioral needs.
• IHBS Therapists support caregivers to better understand their children's needs by exploring patterns of behavior and improving communication.

Education

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, special education or related CBHI approved degree program
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth and families in a home or community setting highly desirable
• Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders preferred
• Experience with working with children on the autism spectrum desirable
• Valid driver's license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time
• Access to a laptop or CPS, high speed secure internet, and a phone required for FFS positions
• Access to high speed secure internet required for Full Time positions

Compensation:

• Fee-for-Service: $50 to $70 per hour
