Job summary

Lear Corporation seeks a SCADA Ignition Developer to design, develop, and deploy Ignition-based HMI/SCADA solutions across our automation footprint. You will collaborate with operations, maintenance, and IT to implement standards, data pipelines, and interfaces.

Requires 2–3 years’ Ignition experience (Perspective/Vision), SQL and Python/Jython, and the ability to create Perspective displays for desktop and mobile.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience developing and deploying Ignition SCADA applications (Perspective and/or Vision).
• Experience with Ignition 8.x platform changes and architecture.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python/Jython scripting; experience with Ignition Expression Language.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support Ignition SCADA/HMI applications across plants.
• Create Perspective displays for desktop and mobile users.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines and interfaces with PLCs and enterprise systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to operations and IT teams.
• Participate in deployment, FAT/SAT, and on-site commissioning.
• Document functional specifications and system diagrams.
