Lear For You is seeking a SCADA Ignition Developer to support, implement, and develop ignition standards, pipelines, databases, and interfaces while driving innovation across Lear globally.

The role focuses on designing and developing HMI/SCADA applications on the Ignition platform, interfacing with process instrumentation, PLCs, and data pipelines, and supporting on-prem and cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of hands-on Ignition SCADA development (Perspective/Vision).
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python/Jython scripting, Ignition Expression Language.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support Ignition SCADA/HMI applications.
• Interface with PLCs, data pipelines, and OT systems across plants.
• Collaborate with engineers, operations, and IT to deploy and support solutions.
• Create and maintain documentation and system diagrams.
• Troubleshoot production issues and assist with performance tuning.
