Job summary
Hydro Extrusion USA, LLC is seeking an Ignition Developer to design, implement, and support industrial applications across multiple manufacturing sites. You will work with engineers, operations teams, IT personnel, and business stakeholders to deploy Ignition solutions that improve data visibility, system integration, and manufacturing performance.
This role reports to the Team Lead, Process Control NA. The position requires hands-on Ignition development experience, strong PLC and data
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial automation or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on Ignition development experience.
- Experience with Ignition Perspective and/or Vision.
- Experience with PLC platforms and industrial communication protocols.
- Experience supporting manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Ignition applications across sites.
- Develop Perspective and Vision HMIs, dashboards, reports, and tools.
- Configure tags, UDTs, alarms, and historical data.
- Integrate PLCs and plant equipment with Ignition.
- Develop Python scripts and SQL queries to support processes.
- Troubleshoot performance issues and optimize deployments.
