Selective Insurance invites ambitious college students to join the Ignite Internship program for summer 2027 at our corporate office in Short Hills, NJ. This 11-week, full-time experience offers a sneak peek into the world of insurance with on-the-job assignments, team projects, exposure to senior leadership, and a community volunteer day.

As an intern in the Transformation Office, you will gain an understanding of agile principles, insurance concepts, project management, organizational change

Qualifications

• Must be a current college student to qualify (rising juniors and seniors preferred).
• Demonstrate an interest in learning about the insurance industry.
• Experience with Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint is preferred.
• College credit can be earned depending on your institution's requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support execution of the EPMO governance process by preparing materials, coordinating inputs, and assisting with portfolio and initiative-level reporting.
• Assist in the development and refinement of business cases and governance artifacts to support investment prioritization and decision-making.
• Contribute to portfolio operations and transformation initiatives by conducting research, maintaining documentation, and supporting cross-team coordination efforts aligned to the product operating model.
