Job summary

The Children's Museum of Phoenix is seeking a Shop Associate to support our Museum Store aMUSE Toys & Fun Stuff. Under the Retail Manager, Retail Associates provide excellent customer service, assist visitors, and maintain presentation of the sales floor, products, and displays.

Responsibilities include processing transactions, meeting revenue goals, stocking shelves, and keeping the stock room and sales floor organized while staying aligned with museum policies and events.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication.
• Comfortable in large groups and dealing with families.
• Basic computer and math skills are required.
• Fluency in Spanish or other languages is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Welcome visitors and provide information.
• Process transactions at point of sale and balance drawer.
• Stock shelves and maintain shop areas daily.
• Enforce safety protocols and promote sales.
• Maintain a clean, organized store and assist visitors.
