Job summary

Selective Insurance Company of America invites college students to join its Ignite Internship program for summer 2027. The 11-week, full-time experience offers exposure to insurance sectors and real on-the-job tasks at regional offices in Allentown, PA or Hunt Valley, MD.

You will work on assignments, team projects, and interact with senior leadership while building professional relationships. Applicants should be undergrad juniors/seniors pursuing relevant degrees and seeking future

Qualifications

• Must be a self-starter, able to take direction and follow instructions.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and perform under pressure.
• Ability to multitask successfully.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Teams.
• Pursuing an applicable degree; field of study preferred.
• Relevant coursework in accounting, actuarial, audit, bonds, finance, IT, marketing, or underwriting preferred.
