SHIFT: 12 Hour Rotating
The IGIV-C Technician is responsible for the isolation of IgG by processing plasma intermediate paste and performing fundamental tasks within a GMP environment. Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining the workplace, assembling/disassembling operating equipment, assisting with process control manipulations, and maintaining records/logs according to standard procedures.
Activities include buffer preparation, zone activities, sterile processing, and purification processing. Specific tasks involve preparing filter aids, calibrating probes, assisting in sterile bulk preparation, and testing process solutions.
Basic math and computer skills, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, teamwork, and good judgment.
High school diploma or GED.
Includes buffer preparation, zone activities, sterile processing, column processing, and UF/DF processing, with tasks like preparing solutions, calibrating probes, and assisting in system cleaning and testing.
Same as TECH I.
Minimum 12 months as a Technician in the department, with a meets expectations rating, demonstrated competence in process areas, and proficiency in at least two areas.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk continuously, work rotating shifts, and exposure to biological fluids, chemicals, noise, dust, extreme cold, confined spaces, heights, and personal protective equipment. Physical activities include standing, walking, bending, sitting, and manual dexterity.
