The IGIV-C Technician is responsible for the isolation of IgG by processing plasma intermediate paste and performing fundamental tasks within a GMP environment, including cleaning and maintaining the workplace, assembling/disassembling operating equipment per procedures, assisting with process control manipulations, and maintaining records/logs.
Include buffer preparation, zone-specific activities, sterile processing, and purification processing tasks, such as preparing filters, calibrating probes, and assisting in system cleaning and testing.
Basic math and computer skills, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, teamwork, and good judgment.
High school diploma or GED.
Similar to TECH I with added tasks like preparing buffer solutions, calibrating probes, and assisting with column processing and UF/DF processing.
Same as TECH I, with the addition of demonstrated competence and proficiency in process areas for advancement.
Minimum 12 months experience as a Technician in the department, good performance ratings, and proficiency in process areas. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work rotating shifts, and wear PPE. Exposure to biological fluids, chemicals, and machinery is expected, with necessary safety precautions.
Work environment involves standing, walking, bending, and occasional entry into confined spaces. Communication skills are essential.
