Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, through the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, seeks an iGaming Compliance Representative to help keep online gaming operations legal and secure across the state. You will monitor programs, respond to patron concerns, and recommend corrective actions based on investigative findings.

The role emphasizes fairness, accuracy, and strong internal controls. Telework may be available part-time; standard hours are 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with a 30-minute lunch, in Harrisburg.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, review, verify, and report on iGaming programs, applications, software, and system architecture to ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and internal controls.
  • Assess updates to iGaming applications and related platforms to validate and test approved operations and functionality.
  • Receive and investigate patron complaints; conduct and aid patron self-exclusions.
  • Analyze facts to draw logical conclusions and prepare investigative reports to communicate findings.
  • Coordinate corrective actions with interactive gaming industry managers and refer or recommend administrative, regulatory, or criminal actions to other bureaus or offices within PGCB.

Job description

The iGaming Compliance Representative role participates in key processes to ensure integrity in the iGaming industry. It is part of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB), Bureau of Gaming Operations, iGaming Unit. Work places you at the center of evaluating new technology and upholding high standards to keep online and interactive gaming applications and platforms operating legally and safely. to step into an exciting field where you will help maintain trust, accuracy, and security in iGaming throughout the state.

This position is responsible for reviewing iGaming systems, responding to concerns from patrons, and making recommendations based on investigative findings. It is essential for supporting long standing standards of fairness and accuracy across a fast-paced and innovative industry. As an iGaming Compliance Representative for the PGCB, you will perform the following duties:

  • iGaming Analysis: Monitor, review, verify, and report on iGaming programs, applications, software, and system architecture to ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, and internal controls
  • Change Evaluation: Assess updates to iGaming applications and related platforms to validate and test approved operations and functionality
  • Patron Assistance: Receive and investigate patron complaints; conduct and aid patron self-exclusions
  • Incident Reporting: Analyze facts to draw logical conclusions and prepare investigative reports to communicate findings
  • Enforcement Support: Coordinate corrective actions with interactive gaming industry managers and refer or recommend administrative, regulatory, or criminal actions to other bureaus or offices within PGCB
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • A Bachelor’s degree; or
  • Four years of security or surveillance experience, of a technical level; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
