Job summary

Air National Guard Units in Idaho is seeking an Inspection Specialist (Superintendent) to serve as a Subject Matter Expert for all Inspection General programs. The role involves advising Wing leadership, coordinating IG activities, and driving policy alignment with higher commands to ensure readiness and compliance.

You will analyze data from MICT and IGEMS systems, identify risks, and coordinate with NGB/IG, DoD, and field units.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of Wing and GSU mission sets.
• Ability to establish metrics and analyze data from multiple sources (MICT, IGEMS, IGEMS-C).
• Experience integrating IG programs with higher HQ directives.

Responsibilities

• Serves as SME for all IG programs and advises Wing leadership on IG matters.
• Oversees IG programs to assess readiness, economy, efficiency, and discipline.
• Develops policy objectives aligning IG work with Wing Commander's intent and DoD directives.
• Establishes data-driven risk measures and ensures compliance before reporting.
