Job summary

Prudent Technologies and Consulting, Inc. is looking for an experienced IFS ERP specialist to support and optimize our client’s manufacturing operations in this region. You will troubleshoot complex IFS issues, collaborate with users and IT teams, and drive data extraction tasks in Oracle databases.

The role requires deep knowledge of IFS Apps 7, ITIL processes, and the ability to create custom reports with Crystal Reports and Power BI. Prior experience with ServiceNow is a plus.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with IFS ERP, with preference for IFS Apps 7.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues in the IFS system.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with users and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex issues.
• Understanding of ITIL processes in Incident, Service Request, Change and Problem Management.
• Knowledge of Oracle databases and data extraction; experience running update scripts.
• Experience with manufacturing processes in IFS modules like Finance or SCM; familiarity with Discrete Manufacturing, Engineer-to-Order, Plan-to-Produce, Procure-to-Pay, Shop Floor, MRP.
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
• Experience using Crystal Reports and Power BI for custom reports.
• Experience with IFS DOP functionality.
• Understanding of standard costing vs actual costing implications.

Responsibilities

Job description

• Troubleshooting: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical and functional issues related to the IFS system.

• ITIL Processes: Understanding of ITIL processes related to Incident Management, Service Request Management, Change Management and Problem Management.
• Database Concepts: Knowledge of database systems e.g., Oracle, Knowledge of database concepts and the ability to assist users with data extraction. Experience running update scripts.
• Business Acumen: Understanding of how the IFS system supports business operations. Business Expertise in Manufacturing Processes such as Discrete Manufacturing, Engineer-to-Order, Plan-to-Produce, Procure-to-Pay, Shop Floor Reporting, Material and Resource Planning and experience with specific IFS modules like Finance or Supply Chain. Desirable Skills:
• Experience with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
