Job summary

Littleton Public Schools is seeking an Educational Support Professional to join the Russell Street team in Littleton, MA. The role collaborates with teachers, service providers, and families to deliver IEP services and support students with academic, behavioral, and emotional needs.

You will collect progress data under the supervision of the special education teacher, maintain confidentiality, and foster a nurturing classroom environment where students can learn and take risks.

Qualifications

• Pay scale: Based on work experience and qualifications
• Employment is contingent upon CORI and SAFIS fingerprinting
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with staff and service providers to deliver IEP services
• Support students in classrooms with academic/behavioral/emotional needs
• Maintain positive relationships with families, allowing teachers to address concerns with parents
• Create a collaborative and nurturing environment for students to learn and take risks
• Collect data on student progress as directed by the special education teacher
• Maintain confidentiality regarding all personal information regarding children, families, and staff
• Communicate effectively and respectfully with students, families, and staff
• Facilitate group activities
• Other duties assigned by the building administration and/or supervising staff.
