Job summary

New Orleans Charter Science & Mathematics High School is seeking an IEP Coordinator to manage student files and ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations. The role includes coordinating IEP meetings, reviewing plans for new students, and serving as the main liaison for evaluations.

You will support teachers with curriculum accommodations, provide required documentation on timelines, and lead quarterly internal audits following LDOE monitoring protocols.

Qualifications

• Maintains students' files and IEP-related documents to remain inspection-ready under federal, state, and district regulations.
• Assists with modifications/adaptations to the curriculum to meet IEP accommodations.
• Provides training to IEP writing staff and staff involved in transition plans.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and conduct all IEP meetings (annual, triennial, 60-day reviews, etc.) and notify all required parties.
• Review IEPs for new students to reflect academics, behavior, and services.
• Act as point of contact for evaluations from start to finish and organize testing and dissemination meetings.
• Maintain an IEP calendar and provide quarterly internal audits based on monitoring protocols.
