Job summary

ReNEW Schools in New Orleans seeks a dedicated Special Education Coordinator to lead compliance, data reporting, and service delivery for students with exceptionalities. You will work with teachers, nurses, psychologists, and case managers to ensure timely IEPs and accurate SER/RS data.

The role emphasizes collaboration, data-driven planning, and regular MDT/IEP meetings to support academic and behavioral growth across the SWE cohort.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Experience with special education systems and compliance is essential.
• Strong data analysis and collaboration skills required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliant special education files and timelines for evaluations and IEPs.
• Manage SER and IEP workflows, including monthly reporting and audits.
• Coordinate with Nurse, School Psychologist, and TCMs to monitor student progress and services.
• Schedule and lead multidisciplinary meetings (IEP, MDR) and maintain accurate PowerSchool records.
• Develop and monitor data reports to drive academic and behavior outcomes for SWEs.
