Job summary

FullBloom is seeking an IEP Coordinator to partner with the Director and resource team to coordinate and evaluate the educational program. You will mentor classroom staff and support onboarding of new staff while aligning with ISBE compliance.

You will work with principals, families, and district partners to organize IEP meetings, maintain databases, and implement transition services, assessments, and data-driven instructional plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with SPED credentials or administrator credential preferred.
• Experience with similar student population in a school setting preferred.
• Experience coaching staff and collaborating with families and school teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, manage, assess needs and assign students to special education programs.
• Assist Principal with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding campus staff.
• Develop transition plans and Indicator 13 services.
• Maintain IEP and student file databases.
• Prepare and attend IEP meetings; ensure ISBE-compliant documentation.
• Plan staff and parent education on special education programs.
• Maintain relationships with district, parents, and community.
• Provide and monitor crisis intervention at the school.
• Organize and deliver professional development and staff trainings.
• Participate in Education Committee meetings and relay information to the team.
