Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Software Development Engineer for Identity Services in Seattle. You will design, implement and operate authentication and session management systems serving millions of customers across web, mobile, and devices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience for new or existing systems.
• 2+ years designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, distributed applications and services.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex requirements into architecture and detailed design.
• Own portions of architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Lead software developers in design, implementation and operations.
• Be hands-on, participate in designs, reviews and coding.
• Provide real-time operational support of the team’s areas.
• Maintain current technical knowledge to drive thought leadership.
• Work with minimal supervision while handling multiple priorities.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver cross-team solutions with complex dependencies.
